Chariot Riders Receives Assistance From Comcast Employees

MANCHESTER - More than 100 Comcast employees, along with their friends and families, helped build fencing, paint barns and signage and prepare grounds for upcoming horse shows at Chariot Riders, www.chariotriders.org/, in Manchester.

Comcast Cares Day is a day of service for Comcast employees as well as their families and friends. It's a company-wide initiative to benefit the larger community.

Employees first took part in 1997 in what was then called Philadelphia Cares Day. B y 2 0 0 1 , volunteer efforts had expanded to the first na t ionwide Comcast Cares Day, and seven years later, the program involves more than 50,000 volunteers nationwide.
