Jersey Shore Animal Center To Host Pet Loss Group
OCEAN COUNTY - The Jersey Shore Animal Center will be hosting a bereavement group every other Thursday from 7 to 8 p.m. at the shelter, located at 185 Brick Boulevard, beginning on October 23.
The purpose of the group is to help pet owners cope with their loss. The support group will be run by a professional licensed clinical social worker, Dr. Cheryl Resnick-Cortes, LCSW, DWS, and students from Georgian Court University.
